In Memory of David Stone
DAVID STONE
“I have had a really good life. I just want to have more of the same.”
David Stone, known as “Shaggy” to his friends, made the statement above shortly after his original cancer diagnosis in May 2008.
David’s diagnosis was a rare type of cancer called Ewing’s Sarcoma. Due to its rarity, Ewing’s Sarcoma has little funding for research. David fought valiantly for four months until all treatment avenues had been exhausted. He died shortly after.
David's family has developed a memorial fund with Dani's Foundation with the goal of raising funds for this foundation and its efforts to work toward improved treatment and expanded research. Your donations will not only serve to honor David's memory, but they will help in the campaign to offer other Ewing's patients a second chance.
